KARACHI: Commuters faced problems as CNG stations were closed for 24 hours on Tuesday.

The Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) had issued a station shutdown schedule for this week announcing closure of CNG stations for three alternate days.

SSGC has said that the CNG stations opened during the closure period will have their gas supply disconnected.

SSGC has advised the CNG station owners to not fill-up gas in their vehicles without safe installation of CNG cylinders.

Another 24 hours CNG shut down will be observed on Thursday, July 4, starting 8am.

The final 24-hour shut down for this week will start on July 6 at 8am.
