Improving education: ‘Quality enhancement cell plays vital role’

Participants of a workshop on Tuesday said quality enchantment cells (QEC) in universities across the country play a vital role in bringing education up to par with international standards.


Khyber Medical University (KMU) Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Hafizullah addressed the inaugural session of a three-day workshop titled ‘Advance Techniques in Data Analysis’, saying much research is needed to improve the quality of education. The workshop was attended by KMU’s QEC Director Dr Jamil Ahmad, research centre director Dr Mukhtiar Zaman and a number of data analysts from universities across the country.

Hafizullah said available resources must be utilised in a way that could help deliver quality education and research in the country. The government must also create the right environment, he added.
