KARACHI: Security officials arrested two members of outlawed Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) from a passenger coach which was passing through the Super Highway in Karachi on Sunday, reported Express News.

The Super Highway was blocked after security officials received a tip-off about the TTP members.

At least six hand grenades, four rifles and two detonators were recovered from suspects identified as Dar Khan and Shazullah.

Rangers personnel also conducted a security operation in the Manghopir area of Karachi and arrested more than 18 suspects.

They also recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition.

Security sources said that at least one operation is being conducted every week in the area to weaken the TTP network.

@saad and feroz it is very easy to carry weapons in these buses as bags are not checked and kept in the luggage compartment.
