RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed won a seat from NA-55, Rawalpinidi 6 constituency in the general elections on Saturday.
He garnered a vote count of 27152 as opposed to PML-N candidate, Malik Shakeel Ahmad Awan's 5577, winning by a sizable majority.

A good lesson for Nawaz Sharif and Ch Nisar who had made NA 55 an orphaned constituency for the last 5 years...First they sent Javed Hashmi as candidate who vacated immediately after winning from his native constituency...This was followed by highly manipulated nominations of the corrupt and incompetent people by Ch Nisar in next two by-elections...
Nawaz Sharif will definitely get an idea how PML N has been hijacked by Ch Nisar in Potohar region...
