KARACHI: Four people were killed in separate incidents of firing in Karachi early Saturday morning.
The killings took place in Liyari market and Gulshan Hadeed areas and the attackers managed to flee in both incidents.
While, in another incident, a doctor and a policeman was gunned down in Orangi Town.
The provincial government has deployed police and rangers in sensitive areas of Karachi to maintain the law and order. Police are not confirming however whether the killings are part of a spate of target killings that have recently gripped the metropolis. Reports have indicated that the killings may have been fuelled by personal enmity.
Sindh Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza has also ordered the capital city police to arrest the people disrupting peace in the city.
