Nahida Khan’s splendid show continued in the 8th National Women’s Cricket Championship as she scored an unbeaten 150 and took five wickets to help Quetta thrash Abbottabad by 192 runs at the Country Club Muridke in Lahore yesterday.
Batting first, Quetta made 279 for two as Nahida hit 23 boundaries while Ayesha Saddiqa made 68. Abbottabad were then bundled out for 87 in 38 overs as Nahida gave away just 15 runs and took five wickets. Meanwhile in Group A, Ramim Shamim and Aiman Anwar got six wickets between them to bowl Karachi to a 128-run victory against Rawalpindi at the Bagh-e-Jinnah Ground.
