KOT GHULAM MUHAMMAD: The 10-party alliance in Sindh failed to finalise the name of its candidates at a meeting at the residence of Jadam Mangrio, a leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F).

The parties considered the names of Nawab Abdul Ghani Talpur and Syed Inayat Ali Shah for NA-227 against Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Mir Munawwar Talpur.

Mir Janullah Talpur, Nawaz Sansi and Younis Talpur were believed to give a tough time to PPP’s Raees Jameel Bhurgri for PS-67 in Kot Ghulam Muhammad. Both PPP nominees are considered strong candidates. However, the final names were not announced.

The candidates for Tharparkar, Umerkot, Mirpurkhas and Sanghar districts also came under discussion. The names are expected to be finalised at a PML-N meeting in Karachi on Tuesday.
