LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan will contest the elections from NA-122 and NA-125, Express News reported on Tuesday.

Earlier, Imran Khan had submitted nomination papers for NA-126 as well, but has withdrawn from the Lahore constituency.

Khan will now contest elections for five national assembly seats from the constituencies NA-1 (Peshawar-II), NA-56 (Rawalpindi-VII), NA-71 (Mianwali-I), NA-122 (Lahore-V), NA-125 (Lahore-VIII).

The ECP started scrutiny of the nomination papers from April 1.

For the first time in Pakistan’s history, three of the country’s top institutions – State Bank of Pakistan, National Accountability Bureau and Federal Board of Revenue – will screen candidates’ backgrounds for criminal conviction, loan default, tax evasion and other financial irregularities.

a lot of good people have spilt their noble blood for our great country their and their generations voices are muffled what choice of leadership do we have why do we have to choose the lesser of three evils as the best candidate why cant we have better choices maybe we ought to change ourselfs before we choose someone to change our country?
