Short-circuit: Fire in two houses

MANDI BAHAUDDIN: Household items worth hundreds of thousands of rupees were destroyed in fires at two houses at Manzoorabad on Friday. The fire started at Rukhsar Ahmed’s house due to an electric short-circuit. Rescue 1122 officials extinguished it after hectic efforts. In the same locality, the fire from firewood burning in kitchen spread to an adjacent room and destroyed it. The family put out the fire with help from neighbours.
