Peace walk: On its way to Islamabad

Aurangzeb and his five companions started the walk on January 5 from Karachi Press Club.

GUJRANWALA: A peace walk led by an athlete Aurangzeb Sultan was given a warm welcome when it reached Gujranwala on Sunday. Aurangzeb and his five companions started the walk on January 5 from Karachi Press Club and are expected to reach Islamabad by February 25. Aurangzeb said that upon his arrival in Islamabad, he will meet the prime minister to talk about elimination of all forms of terrorism in the country. He said the district sports officers were looking after the walkers along the way. A Special Branch police official is also accompanying them, he said.
