LAHORE:

Lahore High Court on Wednesday ordered 14 kiln workers released from bonded labour at a kiln in Raiwand City.

Patras Masih had filed a habeas corpus petition against kiln owners Haji Akram and Haji Salam. He said the kiln owners would torture their workers and not allow them to leave the kiln. He prayed the court to recover his relatives. Bailiff Habibur Rehman raided the kiln and recovered all workers including women and eight children.
