Deepening ties: Pakistan, Czech Republic discuss options

ICCI president sought technical assistance and investment from Czech investors in the energy sector.

Pakistan and the Czech Republic enjoy trade and economic cooperation in various fields and this can be strengthened by improving business ties further, says the Czech ambassador to Pakistan.


He spoke about the Export Bank of the Czech Republic, the key objective of which is to promote exports on a wide scale with government support.

He pointed out that his country was particularly focusing on production of communications devices, electronics products and a wide range of private and public vehicles.

Earlier, ICCI President Zafar Bakhtawari, while pointing to the setback faced by Pakistan’s economy because of energy crisis, sought technical assistance and investment from Czech investors in the energy sector.
