Police arrest 13; recover 87 bottles of liquor

The Islamabad Police apprehended 13 persons on Saturday for drug-peddling, bootlegging and possession of illegal arms. They recovered 2.2 kg of hashish, 87 bottles of liquor, and eight pistols with 80 rounds. Separate cases were registered against the accused.


A Tarnol police team recovered 2.2 kg of hashish from Misaal Khan and Mobeen Khan, along with two 30-bore pistols and 50 rounds.

Chaudhry Mohammad Siddique and Sunil Khal were arrested by the Kohsar police with 42 bottles of liquor in their possession.

Bhara Kahu Police Station Sub Inspector Shaukat Ali and Assistant Sub Inspector Mohammad Nawaz arrested Nasir Masih and Sajawal during patrolling and recovered 45 bottles of liquor from their possession.

Ramna police Sub Inspector Mohammad Khan recovered 110 grams of heroin from Sudhir.

The Golra police seized a 30-bore pistol with two rounds, while the Shahzad Town Police arrested Intizar Khan, Sher Azam, Mohammad Tashfeen and Yasir and recovered  four pistols and 20 rounds from them.

The Sihala police arrested Arshad Khan and recovered a revolver and three rounds from him.
