Ujala programme: Students to get 14,000 solar panels

The students will be given three energy-saver bulbs, a battery and a solar panel.

FAISALABAD: Fourteen containers of solar panels to be distributed among students in the district have arrived in the city, The Express Tribune has learnt. More than 14,000 solar panels will be distributed by the chief minister in the next week. Class IX and X students with more than 60 per cent marks in their last examinations will be eligible for the gift. Education Department officials said that the list of the students who will get these panels had been prepared. The students will be given three energy-saver bulbs, a battery and a solar panel.
