ISLAMABAD: Minhajul Quran International’s (MQI) “million man” march entered Islamabad on Monday evening, Express News reported.
While speaking to the media on his way to Islamabad, MQI Chief Tahirul Qadri reiterated that no power can stop his revolution.
He said the blockages should be removed before his caravan reaches the rally point or the government will regret its decision.
The MQI caravan reached Islamabad from Lahore via GT Road.
‘Long march an international conspiracy’
Interior Minister Rehman Malik said Qadri’s long march was a part of an international conspiracy to destabilise Pakistan, Radio Pakistan reported.
He was speaking to journalists after inspecting the security measures taken for the long march.
Malik also expressed suspicion over Qadri’s source of funding.

Thanks to great leader Dr Quadri who has stood to bring down the corrupt system from Pakistan. Shame to MQM and PTI for not joining the right cause of Dr Quadri. We all must support Dr Quadri as he is the only person who can bring changes to present electoral systems. The present electoral system is only elect the same corrupt faces as it is in the best of of Zardari and Nawaz Sharif as the will be holding office turn by turn. I wonder the silence of Imran Khan and his dubious statement and the MQM last minute refusal to take part in the Long March.
So the 4 million man long march turns out to be no more than a mere 40 thousand? What a drama. Hot air.

I have spent almost 7 hours at soan gardens express way islamabad for his arrival. My word he has done it with min 500 thousand people and 5000 vehicles with him. Max number of buses fully loaded, he has proved it. If he wants he can take charge of Govt. We have witnessed some sensational scenes with motivation at steam. Those who are saying that nothing is gona happen, let me assure them these people the impact will be huge on pakistan political ground. I am not his supporter but I shall must give him full marks for bringing such big crowd to Islamabad.

Although I am not supporter of Qadri, but if corrupt to the core industrialists like Sharifs can gather thousands and feudal lords can run the government than why to stop another person to go ahead with his demand and the sit-in ? ... isnt it all a part of democratic process ? I am amazed at comments of hatred ... although we want and love democracy but we can not proceed with it unless we come out of our mental slavery to authoritarian system.

@ Aamir - Toronto, Malik's meeting with Dr. Qadri was only to finalise the security arrangements for the participants of the march. It was nothing to do with any Government-Qadri negotitiations.
Now last act of drama will begin. Few dead bodies will make his task easier and quicker. Hidden hands are waiting anxiously to disclose themselves. Musharaf posters at gathering are telling everything.

Didn't he met Qadri few days ago and praised him like he (Qadri) is saint and suddenly he is turned his guns at him, Malik is really a strange creature.
It is misleading to state 'million men'. The amount of people being estimated is 40,000 - 100,000 (including all collected from GT Road). Not forgetting that Qadri had stated 4 million. We need to become less emotional and more logical / realistic.
Welcome to islamabad dr. qadri! you are the voice and hope of 100 million poor people of pakistan who have been exploited by the rich and corrupt politicians for the last so many years. majority of pakistan is behind you. if the govt does not accept your fair demands, then make it tehrir square till they dissolve national assembly like baluchistan assembly. time for a new pakistan. enough is enough.
