LAHORE: MNA Hamza Shahbaz distributed 851 laptops among students of the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) on Wednesday. Speaking at the ceremony, he said education was a top priority of the Punjab government. He urged students to focus on their studies. Earlier, VC Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha said the university was imparting professional education to produce trained manpower to serve and develop the livestock sector. Commenting on the importance of livestock sector, Prof Pasha said the contribution of this sector in agriculture GDP had increased in the last decade.
