The ongoing Pakistan-India battle on the cricket front is the talk of the town.
On December 27, we asked our readers on The Express Tribune Facebook page to give us one message they would like to pass on to the Pakistan cricket team for the ongoing series.
We received over 140 messages for Team Green, of which some of the best responses are below:
Usman Ghani Rathore Append no responsibility to batting, because it’s useless. Append support to capability, like Malik sab did in last match! Oust Afridi and Misbah, this could be beneficial for both Pakistan and India and far most for the dying cricket.
Nomi Aalam keep Nasir Jamshed one down.
Aina Maria Waseem Have faith in your own abilities! We don't care whether you win or lose, but I hope I don't see a shaking-in-his-shoes Professor Hafeez ever again. I loved to see him laughing when Pakistan was 3 down for almost nothing and dots were following dots.
Sajeer Alam Concentrate on activities inside ground and not outside!
Talal Asad Do not play your natural game. Please, Thanks.
Saamia Nawaz Khan Control your tempers and your tongues please.
Sahrish Ahmad To our stars, Defend your wicket like Misbah. Run in between like Shoaib. Think like Hafeez and be fearless like Afridi.
Syed Irtaza Ali Don't ball no-balls... if you know what I mean! They are too damaging to the morale of the team and the whole nation.
Waseem Ali Awan the best advice would be not to listen to any one's advice cause you are selected from 18 crore so u know your job better than these internet legends who might never have even made into their school team Good luck boys love u whatever is the result.

i think afridi should retire now,,,his performance is injuring the team,,,,,so plz gooooooo
Do not get intimidated by your opponent. Play with a Lion's heart and do not fear. In bowling and fielding, be ruthless and die on the pitch. In batting, stroke/timing play is of essence. You do not have to throw the ball out of the ground, a four is better than a catch on the boundary. Lastly, let your opponent fear you, not the other way around. The difference between making history and being history is YOU.
Best of luck to both India and Pak.
Play agressive cricket ! and work on your batting
@waseem ali awan: and your comment was the best :)
