The purple carpet at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles glitters with stars before the VH1 Divas concert.

The purple carpet at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles was glittering with stars on Sunday night as VH1 Divas concert was about to begin.

One after another, the divas who made their way to the auditorium were dressed to impress. The concert is held yearly to benefit Save the Music Foundation, and this year’s celebration was a tribute to Whitney Houston and Donna Summer.

Here’s a round-up of six ladies who stood out at the much-awaited annual concert.

Demi Lovato

Demi01

This singer-actor arrived in a little black dress with sequined sleeves from Topshop accessorised with YSL Tribtoo black platform pumps. With her hair neatly brushed back and a sweet smile on her face, Demi took us back to the days when she appeared as Angela on Barney & Friends. The only complaint we have is that she’s caked on too much foundation.

Jordin Sparks

Jordin

Songwriter and actor Jordin posed on the purple carpet showing off her sassy gold and black gown by Nicole Miller along with black heels by Sam Edelman. She looked divalicious in her square and diamond shaped accessories and her natural make-up, especially her glossy voluptuous lips. Jordin was comfortable showing off her curves in her perfect fitting dress as she smiled for the camera.

Brandy Norwood

Brandy

Brandy flaunted her one-shouldered asymmetrical dress and shoes by Esteban Cortazar on the purple carpet. With a radiant smile and a confident style, the singer-actor posed for the camera wanting us to look at everything from her fabulous black curls and a fresh manicure to her metal ankle cuff sandals and the musical notes tattooed on her right foot.

Ciara Princess Harris

Ciara

This gorgeous singer-dancer-actor had us drooling with her stunning sexy look. She wore a perfect-fitting sparkling black gown by Pamella Roland. Her toned arms peek through the sheer panels in her sleeves and the neckline is perfect for the right amount of cleavage. For a woman with a dream-come-true body, fabulous style, and perfect make-up, all we want to say is: we love your stylist.

Natasha Bedingfield

f02

This British singer sported a blue and white not-so-nice outfit at the event. The blouse, with padded shoulders, has white beads and sequins embellished on it. The maxi skirt we don’t mind, but can’t seem to get why she wore lilac nail colour. Natasha needs to get a new hair and make-up artist. In fact, she needs to get a total make-over. All we can say is: kudos for the pink-rosy lip shade.

Elisha Cuthbert

f01

Actor Elisha from the fame of 24 arrived at the concert wearing a black satin dress, with her hair parted to the side. With black and silver dangling earrings, and a purse by Dominie, this diva clearly tried her best to impress, but unfortunately failed in doing so. The only thing we love, are those red satin platforms. Please fire your make-up artist for making you so pale.
