UN resolution: Nawaz congratulates Palestinians

Sharif says that approval of UN resolution is a significant step towards self autonomy for the people of Palestine.

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif has felicitated the Palestinian people after they were granted the status of a non-member state by the United Nations (UN).  In his message, Sharif said that the approval of the resolution in the UN to grant non-member state status to Palestine was a significant step toward independence and self autonomy for the people of Palestine. Sharif said Pakistanis were proud of their support to the just struggle for independence of the Palestinian people and this support would continue. Sharif said it was now the duty of the international community to ensure complete implementation of the resolution passed by the UN Security Council regarding an independent and autonomous Palestine.
