PESHAWAR: Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa chapter of the Young Doctors Association (YDA) has threatened the government of boycotting their duties from Monday if it fails to provide them a proper service structure. Addressing a news conference at the Peshawar Press Club, YDA President Dr Alamgeer Yousafzai said that they have taken up their issues with the officials numerous times, but to no avail. He said that 7,500 doctors of the province working in government and private hospital will go on strike and protest till their demands are met. The YDA president said that doctors were on duty even during Eid.  He added that they regret creating problems for patients but are compelled to come out on the streets to fight for their rights.
