Eid Ehsas cards to save lives

The Express Helpline Trust has launched Rs500 Eid cards as part of an initiative to generate funds for flood victims.

KARACHI: The Express Helpline Trust has launched Rs500 Eid cards as part of an initiative to generate funds for flood victims.

The launch of the cards will be held at the Express office at 3pm today. Prominent personalities from different walks of life will participate and buy these Ehsas cards.

The revenue generated through the sales of these cards will be sent to the flood affected areas in the form of relief goods and Eidi.

The Express Helpline Trust has delivered over 20 trucks of aid to flood victims since it has been established. With first-hand knowledge of the on ground reality the Express team has been able to guarantee that aid is delivered to victims directly.

Donations to the Express Helpline Trust are being accepted through cheques and transfer to the EHLT bank account and through drop boxes at McDonalds.

People can also donate Rs10 to flood victims by sending out an SMS to 2471 as part of an Express Media Group initiative.
