With the WTO trade block D8, SAARC, CAS which Pakistan subscribes. Opportunities for member regional block nations. Convergence of the combined effect of each country initiatives, and benefits to be accrued. In the energy sector Iran is important neighbour and should have joint R&D., market access to our needs to overcome crisis. There is a need for Pakistan and Iran for membership of IEA which could also be initiated to be in the league of nations of the current members of IEA. Wish all participants of D8 members in Pakistan in the year 2012.
