Four killed in Karachi violence

Police conducted a search operation in Baldia Town’s Abidabad area and arrested six suspects.

KARACHI: Three people were gunned down while a woman’s body was recovered on Thursday in Karachi, Express News reported.

Unknown people opened fire on a car near Meena Bazaar in PIB Colony, in which two people died on the spot, while another succumbed to his injuries at a hospital.

One of the deceased was identified as Ziauddin.

A woman’s mutilated body was recovered from Bhains Colony.

The police conducted a search operation in Baldia Town’s Abidabad area and arrested six suspects. They were moved to an undisclosed location for further investigation.

Eight people on were shot dead on Wednesday in the continuing spree of targeted killings.

The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) had also staged walkouts from both houses to register their protest against the government’s inaction over violence in Karachi.
