Man in Gujranwala kills 5-year-old daughter to take revenge from wives

Gulzar Ahmed had wanted to marry for third time, first and second wife got 'potential' third married to someone else.

GUJRANWALA: A man in Gujranwala killed his five-year-old daughter as an act of revenge because he had wanted to marry for the third time, Express News reported.

The incident took place in the Rahwali area, within the jurisdiction of Cantt Police Station. The man, identified as Gulzar Ahmed, had previously married two women named Mussarat and Taj. He had planned to marry Shazia, who was from Gakkhar.

When the two women discovered his plans, they got Shazia married to someone else.

In order to take revenge, Ahmed murdered his five-year-old daughter, Komal. He then told the police that his second wife and daughter had murdered Komal.

It was revealed during investigations that Ahmed was behind the entire incident. He later confessed to the murder as well.
