KARACHI: The Sindh government imposed a ban on pillion riding in Karachi starting midnight on Friday till Muharram 11, reported Express News.

The ban has been imposed to avoid any untoward incident in the city during the month of Muharram.

The ban is not applicable on women, children, the elderly and journalists.

On Thursday, Interior Minister Rehman Malik had said that all federal and provincial administrations should survey religious sites and hotels during Muharram to rule out the presence of terrorist elements.

He added that Quick Response Force (QRF), bomb disposal squads, and specialised police and paramilitary units will be deployed at sensitive places including Imambargahs during the month.

If that picture isn't a rare thing to see, you guys have some impressively lax traffic laws. Most places would end up taking that man's license away for endangering the lives of his children. At the very least I hope you guys are diligent with pothole repairs. Though it'd probably make for a hilarious youtube video once they hit one.
