Get the look: Casual Kalki

Kalki Koechlin gets featured on the cover of Women’s Health magazine.

Bollywood hottie Kalki Koechlin, who debuted in Anurag Kashyap’s critically acclaimed Hindi film Dev D, was featured on the cover of Women’s Health magazine and was also spotted at the launch. Kalki wears a conservative but smart-casual outfit we love! Here’s how to achieve a similar look.

Make-up

The make-up is natural and light. Opt for a good compact like Color Studio’s Invincible (Rs800), Rimmel Match perfection blush (Rs850), Loreal Million dollar lash mascara (Rs2,000), Rimmel eye-pencil in brown (Rs400). For the lips try Mac’s Lady Danger(Rs1,700) topped with a clear lip gloss.

Hair

Her hair falls naturally straight in a gorgeous auburn colour. We love the simplicity of her look — a side parting with her bangs framing her adorable French features. In case you have curly hair, straighten it with an iron. It hardly takes any effort to achieve a look this simple.

Accessories

With Kalki’s look, it’s best that she didn’t go heavy on the accessories. She kept it light with two chunky rings on each hand. She could have added a long chain necklace to make it more dressy, but she looks good without it too.

Outfit

Kalki paired a pair of maroon jeans with a navy blue blazer and a crème coloured shirt. For similar ones, be sure to check out Mango, Debenhams and Splash. Mango has recently stocked up with light winter blazers in all different styles. Coloured jeans are a must have on any shopping list, so be sure to find yourself a comfortable pair.

Shoes

Even though the heels are not visible in the picture, Kalki is wearing high, block-heeled loafers in beige, which are bang on trend.  Hers are Micheal Kors but you can find a pair of your own at Nine West, Vincci, Debenhams or Charles and Keith.
