Custody Dispute: SHO served notice for baby’s recovery

Petitioner says her husband forcefully took their daughter

LAHORE: Additional District and Sessions Judge Khalid Mahmood Bhatti issued a notice to the North Cantt SHO on Tuesday on a petition filed by a woman seeking the recovery of her three-day-old daughter from the possession of her father.

Sughra Bibi said she married Imran in 2011 but their matrimonial life was not good and Imran kicked her out of the house.

She said she gave birth to Amina on October 27 and Imran forcibly took the baby with him the same day. She said she visited the police but they did not register her complaint. She prayed to the court to direct the SHO to recover her daughter from Imran and hand her over to her.
