Higher education: Pakistan, Bosnia to promote academic cooperation

Dr Sohail Naqvi added that the delegation also appreciated Pakistan’s assistance to Bosnia during its war.

With an aim of exploring possibilities of academic cooperation in the higher education sector, a delegation from Bosnia visited the Higher Education Commission (HEC) on Tuesday.


The two-member delegation comprised American University in Bosnia and Herzegovina President Denis Prcic and International University of Sarajevo Rector Dr Ozer Cinar, who agreed to promote academic exchange programmes with Pakistan.

“They acknowledged that HEC is following international higher education standards and showed interest in collaborating with Pakistan’s higher education institutions,” said HEC Executive Director Dr Sohail Naqvi.

He added that the delegation also appreciated Pakistan’s assistance to Bosnia during its war.
