Former DPO Waqar Chauhan to appear in court
Former DPO involved in the Sialkot lynching case has been taken into custody and is expected in court tomorrow.

SIALKOT: The former District Police Officer Sialkot, Waqar Chauhan was arrested on Tuesday and is expected to appear in court tomorrow in connection to the Sialkot lynching case.
Five other police officials will also be presented in court along with the former DPO. However, prime accused in the lynching of two brothers, SHO Rana Ilyas, has managed to evade custody along with one other police officer involved in the brutal killing.
Earlier, Justice (retd) Kazim Malik, who was given the task to conduct an inquiry into the lynching stated that the Supreme Court would start its hearing of the case on September 1. Justice Kazim added that statements of 101 people, who were directly or indirectly linked to the case, have been recorded. He added that it would be upto the apex court to decide on whether they want to make the report public or not.

strong textdespite the fact that v r muslims but being human being the said act is highly condemnable…As in Videos every body can see that there are so many people gathered around and these videos are sufficient to prove the crulty. Being lawyer if i consider the background of the deceased brothers, there is no such thing that can prove them to be Robbers, they belonged to good family, having educated background and good in studies as well etc. on the other hand the other party is totally illiterate. well whatever we all want Justice for deceased brothers. No one has right to do such an Offence and there is in our religon that Lasho ki Bayhurmati Jaiz nai First of all they were no one to murder them and they deserve capital punishment in Public so that no one else can dare to think even to hurt some one..

If police officials were interrupted in between this wouldn’t have happened, it is/was their job they are appointed and paid for this. Common man does not come forward when police officails are there.Recommend
