Non-payment: Power to Fazle Kareem house cut

A Fesco spokesman said Kareem owed Rs140,000.

FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) on Tuesday disconnected the power supply to the residence of Sunni Ittehad Council Chairman Fazle Kareem for non-payment of electricity bill. A Fesco spokesman said Kareem owed Rs140,000. Malik Ilahi Bukhsh, spokeman for Kareem, said Fesco the electricity meter had been removed from Kareem’s Gutwala residence to pressure him to stay away from a ‘train march’ he has called for. He said the bills had been paid on Monday. He said Kareemwould seek action against the Gutwala SDO.
