KARACHI:

IBM Pakistan underwent a change of leadership as Adnan Siddiqui, previously country sales manager for Pakistan and Afghanistan, has taken charge as country general manager for the company, a press release said on Tuesday.

Siddiqui replaced Humayun Bashir, who has been named business development executive for IBM Middle East and Africa. Bashir, who had been IBM Pakistan country head for 13 years, will take charge of the new post in October.

“I am confident the company will continue to grow under the leadership of Adnan Siddiqui,” Bashir commented.

Siddiqui has held various roles during his 19-year career with IBM. A graduate of London Business School’s Strategic Management programme, he has been constantly contributing to the company’s growth in the market, the press release said.
