Self immolation: Mother of three dies of severe burns

SHABQADAR: A mother of three from Shabqadar, died on Sunday of severe burns. She allegedly lit herself when her mother-in-law refused to let her visit her family on Eid. “Her father, had married her to her cousin in Darya Korona,” said Atta Muhammad, a local. He said differences developed between her and her mother-in-law when her father, refused to marry his other daughter into the same household. Soria was admitted to a hospital in Peshawar, where she succumbed to her burns. Shabqadar police have not yet registered a case.
