KARACHI: The administration staff at the Sindh Assembly received a bomb threat on Thursday, prompting them to call a bomb disposal squad for inspection, reported Express News.

The Sindh Assembly building lies in a sensitive area of the city where strict security is maintained.

In light of the rising violence in Karachi, there have been a few bomb hoaxes recently in the city. On the second day of Eid, a bomb threat hoax caused panic in the Karachi zoo where several people had gone to celebrate the festival.
