Kamra attack, Hindu migration part of conspiracy against Pakistan: Altaf Hussain

Published: August 17, 2012

MQM chief asks political leaders to focus on solving problems rather than fighting for power. PHOTO: FILE

Political leaders should focus on solving the problems faced by Pakistan rather than fighting for power, said Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Friday.

Commenting on the PAF Kamra base attack and Hindu migration to India, MQM chief said that the events appear to be a part of a conspiracy hatched against Pakistan.

Hussain requested intellectuals, columnists and various political, religious and social leaders to address these issues faced by the country.

Members of the MQM have been meeting representatives of political parties in an effort to hold a roundtable conference on national security, featuring stakeholders – including military leadership, religious and political leaders and intellectuals.

They had also met President Asif Ali Zardari in Karachi, the Jamaat-e-Islami in Lahore and the Awami National Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid in Islamabad in July for this purpose.

Yes, and they are people from RAW/ Mosad/ CIA who are oppressing the Hindus and Ahmedis and forcing them to run away from the land of Pure. Only these agencies are oppressing the minorities just to defame Pakistan!!!! Its unfortunate that even after such tragic incidents people are not willing to open the eyes and smell coffee.

I think that Mr Altaf is not a leadership material because he believes in conspiracy rather than being honest and say Buck stops here and admit that our society has problems. Until unless problem is not recognized solution can not be found. Examples are people who are addicted to alcohol or drugs. The treatment is only effective or even started till the person admits I have a problem and I need help in correcting or finding a solution with this. If Altaf was a good leader he would have asked solutions from Hindu community or the Base officials. So now on I am going to tune Mr Altaf as just making noise and is not interested in betterment of his people. He lost my respect because he failed to admit that our society has a problem and we need to find solutions together rather than sweeping under the carpet by saying it is somebody else’s fault.Recommend

It’s surely a conspiracy, a plot by agencies abroad. CIA, RAW and MOSSAD being the highly involved one’s. All this is a game to show how Pakistan lacks the capability to protect itself from the threat faced from the so called “TALIBAN”. How right after the attack at the Kamra base the news channels of INDIA and US started to show this attack being very close to the NUCLEAR facility in Pakistan. Whereas the nuclear research facility was not even very near to KAMRA. as that facility lies in KAHUTA not in ATTOCK where the Kamra Base is located.

” All this is a conspiracy game, planned 50years ago being implemented now. Beware Pakistani’s and react before it’s too late”

    LOL! I like your idea.
The only problem is the persons standing next to each other will be slapping each other all day, then a third ‘conspiracy’ nut job will step in to stop those two slapping each other with his own superior ‘conspiracy’ theory and he will start slapping the two…and soon we will have a riot in a few minutes.
Unfortunately, your proposed sensible solution doesn’t work when 90% of the population would rather believe in a conspiracy first than face the truth with rational reasoning.

I think the only viable and permanent solution of all the longstanding problems of Pakistan is the complete exchange of population based on faith, all Indian Muslims must migrate to Pakistan including the Indian Occupied Kashmir and all Pakistani Hindus and Sikhs to India. Once this is accomplished then the International Border must be sealed permanently and the Two Nation Theory be laid to rest for good.

Great maturity reflected in your comment Hassan! Destabilising a country is often an expensive proposition. Undoing Soviet Union has shattered Afghanistan and weakened Pakistan. Both Iran and Iraq have been losers. India has done a great job to democracy by aiding Bengalis of in late 60s and early 70s (East Pakistan housed about 56% of Pakistan’s population) but than had to bear the economic cost.
The good aspect was it supported majority against tyrant minority called West Pakistan.
India certainly is world’s biggest democracy.

I like the reburttal by Indian guy. I regard his humor relevant. If Pakistan had the resoources to admit all Muslim residents of the sub-continent to its citizenship, all muslims settled in India are unlikely to come. Division of India was probably not supported by majority of muslims even in 1940s and certainly not by majority of total population of British India. Forcing muslim citizens of India to leave their country for a mulla influenced terrorist land that has weaker institutios, is violation of basic human rights of muslims who by choice are Indian citizens.

@Khurram: I had normally found your comments to be in the moderate lot what happened ? There are approx 180 million Muslims in India and 4 million Hindus and Sikhs in Pakistan do you think that the transfer of such a large population is possible if so are you sure it will be non- violent? The population of Pakistan is 180 million would you be able to accommodate and feed another 180 million ? Do u think a all Muslim population will guarantee a peaceful and prosperous Pakistan if so why the 40000 killings in the last few yrs , after all u are 98% Muslim today surely the 2% who are scared stiff and wanting to migrate on the first opportunity they get could not have created this havoc? How do you expect Tamil, Malayalam or Kannad speaking Muslims to adjust in Pakistan? No my friend the answer is not in a mass migration the size of which will make 1947 look like peanuts.Have u never heard of two Sunni Muslim brothers killing each other? I am sure you have like i have heard of Jat Sikh brothers killing each other on this side of the border. The answer my friend is TOLERANCE , TOLERANCE and more TOLERANCE .

The failure of the State is very apparent in Baluchistan and what is disturbing is that it does not seem simply a case of bad governance but more a case of deliberate bad governance that makes matters alarming. The murder of innocent life is greatest catastrophe that can occur. Whether it is done due to ethnic reasons by BLT, or by LeJ on hazaara shias or army’s selective targetted attacks. All of this needs to be condemned. Even in the comments some ppl r taking sides, where as what we need to do is condemn an innocent life no matter what. Sure. That is why the current Indian CEC is a Muslim because we would like an ISI agent to run our elections. Our current VP is also a Muslim for the same reason. Adul Kalam was put in charge of the nuclear project because India wanted ISI to have full access to our plans. For the same reason he was made a President by BJP because Indians wanted an ISI agent to be a President. Oh and Saif and Salman made movies where they were RAW agent to fool everyone because in reality we Indians think they are ISI agents.
