ISLAMABAD: A man was killed on Wednesday after being hit by a motorcycle as he attempted to illegally cross a busy highway in Bhara Kahu. The police said Nazar Muhammad, 93, was crossing the road near Athal Chowk while he stepped in front of Junaid Ahmed’s motorcycle. Muhammad suffered serious head injuries and was shifted to a nearby hospital, where he died. Ahmed did not try to flee from the scene. The Bhara Kahu police impounded the motorcycle but let Ahmed go on condition of not leaving the city in case he needed to be questioned again. The body of the deceased was handed over to his family in Bhara Kahu.
