DERA BHAGWAN SINGH: We, the residents of village Dera Bhagwan Singh in Sargodha have been suffering from a severe power shortage for the past week. Six days ago, due to heavy rain, the electricity pylons in our village were badly damaged, which in turn led to a complete power breakdown.
Despite making a number of complaints to Wapda officials, no action has been taken to restore power to our village. The authorities concerned, the Wapda administration and even the media seem indifferent to our plight. The chief minister of Punjab is requested to take notice of the situation and ask the DCO, Sargodha and Wapda officials to act on our complaints.
