Education: Rs300m for upgrade of five colleges

The directorates of these colleges have been asked to submit PC-I forms to the Education Secretary within a week.

FAISALABAD: The provincial government has allocated Rs300 million for upgrade of five girls’ colleges to university level in five districts of the province. In Faisalabad, Government College for Women, Madina Town, Faisalabad, has been selected for upgrade to university status. Other colleges are in Multan, Sialkot, Dera Ghazi Khan and Bahawalpur. The directorates of these colleges have been asked to submit PC-I forms to the Education Secretary within a week.
