DUBAI: The London-based Standard Chartered bank announced on Monday the appointment of Raheel Ahmed as its regional consumer banking head for the Middle East, Africa and Pakistan. Ahmed replaced Vishu Ramachandran who has been named the COO for global consumer banking, the lender said. Ahmed, who graduated with a MBA from Pakistan’s Institute of Business Administration in 1991, joined the bank in 2004.
