KARACHI: All CNG stations will remain closed in Karachi on July 5 due to a breakdown at the Bhit Gas Field, Express News reported on Wednesday.

According to the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), gas supply had been suspended due to a breakdown at the Bhit Gas Field and will resume on July 6.

All CNG stations in the city will remain closed from 9am Thursday till 9am Friday.

Earlier, the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) had rejected the proposal to suspend gas supplies to Karachi’s industry for two days every week, saying it was unacceptable.

Bang on Shab-e-Barat, when people travel to far-off cemeteries to pay their respects, another gem awaits them.
