KARACHI:

At a book launch held by the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), the people attending were in for more than they had bargained.

The event, held at the Lal Qila ground, began with the presentation of two books by separate authors in different languages, which set the mood. ‘Zindagi jo safar’, originally an English book titled ‘My life’s journey’, an a biographical account of MQM chief Altaf Hussain, was translated from Sindhi to Urdu by Interior Sindh Tanzimi Committee member Ashiq Hussain Asadi and ‘Inhi pathron pe chalkar’, written by renowned author Arif Khan Advocate were the main items of the evening.

However, a surprise call was made by the MQM chief, who was kind enough to say a few words with regard to the event and the people of Sindh. He said that Sindh was going through a tough time where people were bent upon identifying themselves by the language they spoke. He urged them to unite by eradicating mistrust between themselves and live in harmony.

He defined Sindhis as those who were born and bred in Sindh, who now maybe living elsewhere in the world, but will always have an affinity with Sindh as they are a part of this land and culture. Speaking about Zindagi jo safar, he said that when people read it, they would understand the philosophy of Altaf Hussain and what the MQM represents.

“A story of a murderer” is the english name of book. It is a story of a poor man who lays the foundation of an empire on the pillars of hate and blood of the people who came to Karachi from other provinces for jobs and bussinesses.
Finally he join hands with the international mafia nd shifts his Headquarters to a Posh Locality of London. And the story of agony and crimes goes on and on ——————

Isn’t MQM bent on being the self claimed representative of “URDU” speakers?

The auto-biography of Altaf Hussain truly reflects the hard and painful effort made by middle class member of this society who elevated from a university student to the leader. Its translation into sindhi language will provide an opportunity to those who can not access to the reality of his leadership charisma. It is easy to speak slang on Altaf Hussain but those who spit are under cover agent of the enemy of middle class people who are being fooled from last 67 years in Pakistan.

Pakisan and MQM need a language in which the struggle of middle class would understand the facts and youth of the country read the history of 1960 to 1970 era, opposition of any popular party without logic may be become cause of many Pakistans or Sindh ,Panjab 1 ,2 3 , Pakhtunistan or greater Afghanistan and Baluchistan is almost slipping from the hands. there for this is the time to give hands together against the feudal system. Baby of Pakistan Bangladesh is more stronger then Pakistan because they rejected feudal system.ZINDAGI JO SAFAR IS A NICE BOOK.for those who want change in pakistan

Hardly any sindhi would read it. Was Hitler’s book “mein kampf”, translted into HEBREW for the Jews to read, i think not, same logic applies here !
