President gives assent to budget for 2012

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari today assented to the Finance Bill 2012 to give effect to the financial proposals of the government for the financial year beginning July 1, 2012 and to amend certain laws.
Spokesperson to the President Senator Farhatullah Babar said that the President signed the bill on the advice of the Prime Minister.
The Finance Bill had been passed by the National Assembly on the June14, 2012.
