KARACHI: Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif has postponed his visit to Sindh scheduled for today (Tuesday) due to bad weather conditions, Express News reported.

Sharif was supposed to address a press conference in the morning to announce senior leaders, including former provincial minister Haji Shafi Mohammad Jamot, joining the PML-N.

According to party provincial leader Dr Taj Mohammad, Sharif was also expected to attend another press briefing at the residence of PML-N leader Liaquat Jatoi, where more announcements about new members were to be made.

Sharif’s last visit to Karachi was in January this year to attend the election of the Sindh council.

In the last few months, he has made a number of visits to Sindh, addressing rallies and meeting nationalist and anti-government leaders in Sukkur, Shikarpur and Jacobabad.

    @Zehra
    Read the news before giving in to your juvenile instincts of commenting negatively wherever Nawaz’s name come up.
    Weather is in fact bad in Badin but then again if logic could curb your irrational grudges, you wouldn’t have commented anyway.
    @Dee PML(N) has tried to do more for Sindh, specially rural Sindh than any other political party. You may not want them there, but I don’t see how you could speak on behalf of all Sindhis.

    He should go back to Switzerland again or may be to London, it doesn’t get too hot (bad weather) over there.

    Postponement without a new date clearly means that it has more than bad weather! Thanks God, NS did not opt for a London visit (for medical reasons obviously) what he usually does at all crucial junctures in recent months!!!

    @Uza Syed
    Another imbecile.
    It isn’t heat that forced the postponement genius. He has been there at 50c before. Travel is virtually impossible because of rain storms. For yours and all the Oh-I-comment-first-think-later people’s benefit

    You want him to teleport himself somehow.
    Again this shows the level of immaturity.
    What is this mentality ? will bash anything and everything about the guy I don’t like whether there is actually anything to bash or not.
    God! our youth is stupid.

    Could not agree more with Shahid. I am a pakka karachi waala but still think that people in Karachi and interior of Sindh are not willing to change their views even if the parties exising here have failed to deliver anthing except for poverty and illeteracy in interior and dead bodies in Karachi.
