KARACHI: Karachi Warriors thrashed Star FC 5-0 yesterday in the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Women’s Inter-Club Championship that is featuring 32 teams from five cities. The championship matches are being held simultaneously in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta and Bahawalpur. On the second day of the tournament, Jamila Ahmed and Aroosa Abid were the stars as they scored two goals each for Karachi Warriors in their opening Group B match that took place at the KPT Stadium in Karachi. In the second match of the day in Bahawalpur, Vehari FC defeated Young Islamia FC 2-0, with good performances from Gul Naz and Tahira who scored one goal apiece.
