@ Sceptic. Gratitude for what? Killing civilians in drone strikes and then making more terrorists? Or helping India set up training camps in Afghanistan? Or for not paying our $ 2B that you us? Or for helping India acquire more sophisticated nuclear technology to point towards Pakistan? We should indeed be grateful to you!

On March 9, 2011, Major General Ghayur Mehmood called a media briefing. The general said: “Myths and rumours about US Predator strikes and the casualty figures are many, but it’s a reality that many of those being killed in these strikes are hard-core elements and a sizable number of them are foreigners.”

Next, according to the BBC, “Recent research by the Ariana Institute in Islamabad found that around 80 percent of people interviewed in Pakistan’s tribal belt felt that targeting by the drone strikes was accurate. Many said that foreign fighters (Arabs, Uzbeks and Tajiks, among them) in particular were being affected. Pakistan Air Chief Marshal (Retd) Rao Qamar Suleiman made a rare and startling revelation in his address to a conference of air chiefs in Dubai in November 2011. He claimed the PAF had flown 5,000 strike sorties and dropped 11,600 bombs on 4,600 targets in Pakistan’s troubled tribal areas since May 2008.

Do’nt tell me more civilian has been killed in 299 drone attacks till now since 2004, compared to those killed by 11,600 bombs by the Pakistan Air Force since 2008.
