The PPP’s pity party (II)

Published: June 7, 2012

LAHORE: Fasi Zaka has presented a sound and strong analysis from a centrist perspective, which will go down well with those readers who do not have a predisposed position. If the PPP does return victorious in the election again, imagine what the people of central Punjab and other industrial hubs of the country would have to go through. Another five years of suffering through the PPP rule is a sure recipe for disaster.

Industry and agriculture are the major employers and not the government, by trying to become the major employer the PPP government damages the state enterprises which become a burden on the economy, Steel Mills, PIA and Railway are consuming 400 billion per annum without giving any return, only growth in industry and agriculture can pull the country out of recession
