The PPP’s pity party

MECCA, SAUDI ARABIA: This is with reference to Fasi Zaka’s article “The PPP’s pity party” (June 6). The kind of governance displayed by the PPP has been absolutely pathetic, in fact, it has been non-existent. Time and again, the PPP has proved itself incapable of governing the country. No matter how progressive its ideology and views may be, it is better if it takes some time off and reflects on the damage its rule has caused to the country during the last five years.

    The priorities have to right if the country is to prosper, the resources of the country have first to be developed before they can be distributed, PPP with its populist policy does exactly the opposite, to gain cheap popularity and to build up its vote bank it starts to distribute the cake even before it has been baked, a small percentage of people benefit but the country suffers
