Convenience: NADRA office lacks facilities

SIALKOT: Hundreds of Shabab-i-Milli activists in Daska held a peaceful protest on Tuesday against the lack of facilities at local National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) office. The protesters took out a rally from Jamia Farooqia and marched to the NADRA office, where they later staged a sit-in. The rally was led by Jamaat-i-Islami leader Muhammad Afzal Lone. The participants carried banners and placards and chanted slogans against NADRA. Lone said that the office lacked even facilities like cold drinking water. He urged NADRA chairman to take notice of the problem. Daska office In-charge Hassan Bajwa, said that the authorities were looking into the matter. He said facilities would be made available soon.
