LONDON: A teenaged girl, dubbed as Britain's fattest teen and presently hospitalised, used to order her favourite junk food online and get it stealthily delivered, her parents have revealed.

Georgia Davis would use her laptop to secretly order her favourite junk food; The Sun quoted her parents - Lesley Davis and Arthur Treloar - as saying.

The girl's parents did their best to help the 19-year-old eat healthily and were baffled when her weight kept rising. They discovered she was ordering secret supplies from shops and having it delivered by van.

Mother Lesley said: "Arthur and I would be watching TV in the lounge and Georgia would make her way downstairs, casually saying, 'It's hot in my bedroom. I'm just going outside for some fresh air.'

"We now know that she was meeting the delivery van and secretly carrying the food upstairs," said the 57-year-old.

"She had been eating all sorts of naughty things like sausage rolls, pastries and cakes - and drinking lots of Coke.

Because Georgia was depressed, spending hours in her bedroom on her computer, I couldn't control everything she was doing."

Georgia's home in Aberdare town, South Wales, was partially demolished last month to take her to hospital. An estimate of her weight was made after 50 firemen, engineers and medics demolished part of her parents' home to get her to hospital.

She was hoisted across a scaffold bridge, on to a special stretcher and then driven in a reinforced ambulance. The operation cost more than 100,000 pounds ($154,000).

Since being in hospital she has lost some weight and was recorded at 52 stone (330 kg).
