HAFIZABAD: At least five people were killed and five others were injured in an explosion at a fireworks warehouse near the Thatta Khokharan area of Hafizabad, Express News reported on Sunday.
According to an Express News correspondent, the body parts of those killed in the explosion were scattered in the surrounding area, making it difficult to ascertain the actual number of casualties.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
More than 10 people were believed to be present in the warehouse when the explosion took place.
Earlier, an FIR was registered against the owners of this illegal workshop after two people were killed in a similar explosion.
