Opposing the prime minister
LAHORE: This is with reference to the editorial “Opposing the prime minister” (May 30). I fail to understand why we cannot allow the democratic process to run its course by letting the government complete its tenure.
This is the beauty of democracy. If you do not like the PPP’s policies, do not vote for them in next elections but for heavens sake, let this democratic process complete its five-year tenure. Anyone blaming parliament/politicians for the current situation must not forget that parliament is the supreme body in the country and we, the people, have elected its occupants.

Wake up call for Pakistanis
I agree with the writer. We should let every elected government complete its tenure. I pray one day the establishment (military, media and judiciary) will learn its lesson.

Since very early years of Independence of Pakistan, not a single civilian govt ever completed the its term or did not let complete it’s term. Every Army dictator ruled not less than ten years…. we have been told Politicians are corrupt and incompetent… where we see no competence in army dictators, these dictators were put on saddles just to take dictates of America, During military rule Pakistan followed only American foreign policy, Once Taliban were assets now same america calls them Terrorist, and we killing them,
